Appel d’offres clos : Équipes de recherche en Biologie du Développement

IBENS is recruiting two group leaders in Developmental Biology

The Institute of Biology of the École Normale Supérieure (IBENS) is seeking two group leaders (junior and/or senior) in the field of developmental biology, including its interfaces with transcriptomics, systems biology, cell biology, stem cell biology or physiology. Interest in the nervous system will be appreciated, although not a prerequisite.

The École normale supérieure (ENS) is situated in the heart of Paris and is one of France’s elite universities. IBENS regroups all of the research teams and scientific facilities of the Department of Biology, which is also in charge of teaching at the undergraduate and graduate levels. IBENS is affiliated to the CNRS and INSERM institutional bodies in addition to ENS and it is composed of 29 independent research groups. There are four main research axes : developmental biology, neuroscience, functional genomics and ecology and evolutionary Biology. IBENS has state-of-the-art facilities, including photonic and electron microscopy, genomics, bioinformatics, protein production platforms, plant/algae growth facilities, rodent and amphibian animal houses and a zebrafish facility.

Transdisciplinarity is pervasive thanks to strong interactions within IBENS as well as with the Departments of Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and Computing sciences at ENS.

The call is closed since April 30 2017

Shortlisted applicants have been notified and interviews will be conducted between June and October 2017.
